Three young children play along the shores of Waikiki, with Diamond Head visible in the distance. Artist Maurice Logan’s soft palette and fluid lines, paired with idyllic imagery, reinforce a romanticized vision of Hawaii that blends nature and innocence. This piece served as a passenger list cover distributed aboard Matson luxury cruise ships between the U.S mainland and the Hawaiian Islands in the early 20th century.
