In 1926, Matson acquired Oceanic Lines, expanding their sailings to the South Seas, while Matson's eventual merger with LASSCO in 1930 added Los Angeles as a new US mainland starting point. This bright and playful brochure highlighted this and enticed travelers to discover new routes and adventures from San Francisco, LA, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Australia.
